After graduating from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Comparative Religion, John pursued a career as a professional musician and recording artist with The Music Factory and founded U.S. Lion Recording Studio. God saw John’s hunger for spiritual truth and interrupted the trajectory of his life when at a home Bible study, John accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of his life.
After working as an entertainer on cruise ships, John left for L.A. to sell his album. It was there that he encountered Keith Green, the Contemporary Christian artist/songwriter. Influenced by Keith, John decided to depart from the music scene and fully devote himself to a life centered on Jesus and the study of His Word. This redirection led him to complement his Philosophy degree with a practical skill set in computer science. Currently, he holds a senior position as an Engineer at Oracle Corporation.
In his forties, John married his wife Lisa and became a father. He then pursued further academic endeavors at Oral Roberts University, earning a Master of Divinity degree with Highest Honors. Although he didn’t feel a calling to become a pastor, he found his niche teaching Biblical Studies, focusing on the book of Revelation, at Faith Assembly in Orlando.
